Ayurveda says 'The age you start to massage yourself, you stop aging.' People who include Ayurveda in their daily life, massage themselves on daily basis. But have you heard about the marma points? Have you ever wonder, after you applying massage oil on the skins, where does the oil and the herbs go? Actually the vital essences of the herbs and the oils are absorbed by the veins underneath the skin and the marma points (ayurvedic vital points on the physical layers). It says in the centre of a marma point is the bindu which sits also in the centre of each chakra. In between marma points and chakras it is the nadis connect your material and subtle layers. Therefore by massage your skin where the marma points cover, you regulate the energy flow in the chakras. There are hundreds of marma points in your body and over 30% of them are on your face and head and help you regulate mental stress and life experiences. So...are you ready to know some of these points and apply them in your daily routine to upgrade your selfceare to another level? This workshop is led by Vaidya July who is the advanced clinical ayurvedic practitioner serves in Trondheim since 2015. Vaidya July also holds the professional background as a yoga therapist, an experienced advanced yoga teacher, Integral Breath-work therapist, Focusing Oriented Therapist and Jungian Coach. During this 2 hour workshop, you will receive a bottle of classical Ayurvedic oil chosen by Vaidya July for relaxation. You will then us this oil to learn how to perform the self marma point massage and to know how these vital points could help your daily life. Please dress yourself comfortably and warmly. To bring something to write for yourself, a bottle of water and a small towel will be ideal.
